About the Editor

Arman Kilic

Dr. Arman Kilic, MD, is the John M. Kratz Endowed Chair in Cardiac Surgery and Surgical Director of the Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program at the Medical University of South Carolina Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Kilic’s clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery including expertise in valve repair and replacement for infective endocarditis. He has a vast network of national and international colleagues who collaborated on this project and contributed as authors of chapters. Dr. Kilic has over 300 peer-reviewed publications.
